As a chubby, only child in Timonium, Maryland, I was sure of a couple of things. My dad didn’t seem happy, my mom didn’t seem happy and I sure wasn’t as cute as other girls in my class. One day, my first grade teacher Miss Harne, (who by the way had a smile like sunshine and smelled like Love’s Baby Soft), put her hands on my shoulders and said, “Kimmy, I think you are always going to be a writer.” From there on, I allowed myself the joy of writing. I love writing anything-stories, poems, business letters, policy, procedure…anything. This site will give me a place to put my work. It will be an adventure to pull out my notebooks and revisit the words I have accumulated over the years, while embarking on all things new. I hope you enjoy my site.
